INDIANAPOLIS - Oakland cross country student-athlete Andrew Bowman was named Horizon League Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Bowman, a senior from Marlette, Mich., won the 4K title with a time of 11:46.00 to lead Oakland over Central Michigan at the Golden Grizzlies Short Course Dual (Oct. 6).

Both teams will be in action on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Bradley Pink Classic Invite in Peoria, Ill. starting at 4:15 p.m.
