DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Martez Walker scored a team-best 14 points and Nick Daniels added 10 as the Golden Grizzlies dropped a road contest to Wright State, 88-67, on Sunday inside the Nutter Center. The Golden Grizzlies made just 5 of 20 shots from behind the arc.

Oakland went down by as many as 17 points in the first half, but battled back to get within six points, 45-39 (16:45), with a 9-3 start to the second half. The Raiders' outside shooting heated up, making 7 of 14 from behind the arc in the final 20 minutes to defeat the Golden Grizzlies (15-6, 5-3 Horizon League).

Mark Alstork made three 3-pointers and 9 of 10 free throws to score 24 points for Wright State. Steven Davis added 17 points and made four 3s for Wright State (14-7, 5-3 Horizon League). Justin Mitchell grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds and chipped in five points.

This was just the second road league loss for the Golden Grizzlies over their last 13 league road games. Oakland falls to 5-2 on the road, 3-1 in conference action. Three Oakland players fouled out of the contest.

Oakland will return home for WinterFest next Friday in a nationally televised game on ESPNU. Tip is scheduled for 9 p.m. on the Blacktop at the O'rena.
