ROCHESTER, Mich. - Alex Serwatka tallied two shots on goal while Nebosja Popovic and Austin Ricci added three shots each as Oakland fell 1-0 to Michigan State on Wednesday night in front of the eighth largest crowd in program history of 1,385 in attendance. Liam McQueenie also made three saves facing 11 shots in his season debut in goal.

The Golden Grizzles return to Horizon League action against Green Bay on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 pm for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night at the Oakland Soccer Field.
