ROCHESTER, Mich. - Lauren Bos scored her first career goal in the 17th minute, while Sophia Braun recorded her first career shutout making two saves as the Oakland women's soccer team defeated Saginaw Valley State, 1-0, on Sunday in the home opener from the Oakland Soccer Field.

The Golden Grizzlies return to the pitch on Friday when they host Kansas State at the Oakland Soccer Field starting at 7 p.m.
