WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Alice Palmer recorded three shots and Sophia Braun tallied three saves in the second half as the Oakland women's soccer team dropped its season opener on Friday to Montana, 2-0, at Folk Field on the campus of Purdue University.

The Golden Grizzlies will host Saginaw Valley State on Sunday for the team's home opener starting at 1 p.m. from the Oakland Soccer Field.
