Our first senior is number 10, Mike Brosseau
Mike is escorted by his parents Mike and Bonnie
Mike joined the Golden Grizzlies from Portage, Indiana in 2013. He will go down as one of the top hitters in Oakland history as he ranks top-10 in the career record book in games played, at-bats, runs scored and total bases. Earlier this season he became the 5th player in program history to surpass 200 career hits. He was named an All-Horizon League selection in 2014. Mike says two of his greatest accomplishments happened this season as the Golden Grizzlies defeated Michigan and Michigan State and also opened the season with a win at Pepperdine.
His favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE Just getting to know some of the greatest men I have come across in my life. I gained a lot of brothers due to being a part of this program and I couldn't be more thankful for that.

Our next senior is number 11, Austin Fischer
Austin is escorted by his parents Clint and Deanna
Austin joined the team at the beginning of the Winter semester after transferring from Iowa State, where he played football for the Cyclones. He made his first collegiate appearance on March 11th against Eastern Michigan in Dayton, Ohio to finish the game and play his second Division I sport. He earned a 3.77 GPA in graduate school at Oakland. He also says one of his greatest accomplishments is being able to play for a great coaching staff of Coach Musachio, Coach Healy, Coach Dean, Coach Klever, and Coach Fox, and also being able to play next to some of the best teammates a ball player could ask for.
His favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE my first appearance at Wright State against Eastern Michigan, and the reaction of my teammates, coaches, and parents after recording the final out. The relationships that I have built in just one semester are relationships that will last a lifetime. It has been a pleasure and a dream come true to put on the spikes for Oakland University and to play for Coach Musachio.

Next is number 16, Ian Yetsko
Ian is escorted by his parents Lisa and Nick
Ian came to Oakland from Dewitt, Mich. for the 2012 season. He has played in over 170 games in his career and ranks inside the top-10 in program history in total number of at-bats and doubles. Last season he was named an All-Horizon League selection after ranking 20th in the NCAA in doubles. This season he was a preseason All-Horizon League honoree and leads the team in RBIs and doubles. At the Black and Gold Awards this year, he received the Future Leader Award for all of Oakland University Athletics. He feels his greatest accomplishments include earning a bachelor's degree, working alongside the Oakland University center for autism, and being honored with the Ryan Kennedy Award.
Ian's favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE being able to play the game I love at the division 1 level. Big thanks to that goes to Coach Moose and my parents for always supporting me.

Our next senior is number 18, Chris Van Dyke
Chris is escorted by his parents Larry and Sheila and his brother Chan
Chris came to Oakland from Denver, Colorado prior to the 2012 season. CVD has totaled over 100 innings on the mound and 80 at-bats for the Golden Grizzlies. He has collected seven victories and two saves over his career including a perfect 2-0 record this season with a 2.67 ERA. Offensively, Van Dyke hit .286 his junior year and blasted a pair of home runs in 2013. During his sophomore year he struck out 13 batters at IPFW, which ranks as the second-most in a single game in Division I program history.
His favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE all the time spent with my teammates who became my brothers over the 5 years I've spent here.
Ladies and Gentlemen, CVD, Chris Van Dyke
Next is number 20, Brett Impemba
Brett is escorted by his parents Mario and Cathy, his brother Daniel and his girlfriend Jenny
Brett joined the team in 2012 from Dakota High School. He has played in 152 games in his career and has collected over 100 hits including 22 extra-base hits. Last season he hit his first career home run to tie the game at Kent State and send it into extra innings. In Brett's first official start in the outfield, he went 4-for-4 with a run scored against Buffalo in 2013. He also drove in the game-winning run his freshman year in the eighth inning at home against Western Illinois. He says one of his greatest accomplishments was earning a scholarship and joining the team as a preferred walk-on.
Brett's favorite memory at Oakland is being able to travel across the country playing baseball with his teammates and also beating Michigan and Michigan State this season.

Our next senior is number 21 Lucas Scocchia
Lucas is escorted by his girlfriend and Oakland women's tennis player Elizabeth Guy
Lucas came to Oakland from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada prior to the 2012 season. In his career, he has made 56 appearances on the mound and has totaled over 75 innings. Last season he led the team with three saves, and this season he has been one of the most consistent relievers with a 3.05 ERA in 17 appearances. Lucas says two of his best accomplishments were beating Michigan and Michigan State this season and also QUOTE Overcoming two arm surgeries to eventually have the best year of my career.
His favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE All those nights with the boys in 3109.

Next is number 23, Logan Sparkman
Logan is escorted by his parents Lisa and Duane
Logan joined the Golden Grizzlies for the 2012 season from Auburn, Indiana. He has made 63 appearances out of the bullpen in his career, which ranks top-10 all-time in program history. Logan has collected four saves during his time, including a team-best three saves in 2014 when he recorded a 4.35 ERA. Logan says two of his greatest accomplishments at Oakland are graduating with an integrative studies degree with minors in exercise science and nutrition and throwing 2 shutout innings in the win against MSU this year.
His favorite memory as a student-athlete is QUOTE spending time with my teammates outside of games and practice.

Our next senior is number 29, Collin Gee
Collin is escorted by his parents Doug and Lori
Collin came to Oakland from Holland, Michigan prior to the 2013 season. He has made over 60 appearances on the mound over his career including making 11 starts over the past two seasons. During his sophomore year, Collin ended the season with a 2.55 ERA in 19 appearances. This season he holds a 3-2 record and picked up his first career win at UIC after throwing two shutout innings in relief. He also threw five shutout innings in a start at Youngstown State this season with six strikeouts to pick up the victory. He says two of his greatest accomplishments are graduating with honors and also beating Michigan and Michigan State this season
His favorite memory is QUOTE The time spent off the field with the boys, I couldn't have asked for a better group to call my brothers.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Collin Gee
Next is number 37, Joe Buchalski
Joe is escorted by his parents Christine and Donald
Joe came to Oakland from Sanford, Michigan prior to the 2013 season. He has made 54 appearances on the mound and this season shifted from reliever to starter where he has made 12 starts with a 3.47 ERA and a team-best 63 punchouts. Joe earned his first win this season tossing 7.0 innings allowing just one unearned run and also struck out a season-high 8 batters versus Northern Kentucky. Joe says his three greatest accomplishments at Oakland include QUOTE graduating with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, being an all-league academic honor roll selection for five consecutive semesters, and going from a walk-on to a Friday starting pitcher.
His favorite memory as a student-athlete is QUOTE all of the community service opportunities, especially working with the Oakland University Center for Autism and their annual Holiday Party.

Next is number 38, Luke McCatty
Luke is escorted by his parents Audrey and Steve and his brother, former Oakland great, Shane McCatty
Luke joined the Golden Grizzlies before the 2012 season from Lutheran Northwest High School in Rochester Hills. He has made 40 appearances out of the bullpen during his career. This season he earned his first career win after allowing just one hit in relief at Eastern Michigan. During his freshman campaign Luke recorded a 1.29 ERA in 11 appearances.
His favorite memory is spending time with his friends especially on the trips to the west coast and beating Michigan and Michigan State this season.

Our last senior is number 41, Alex Mason
Cal is escorted by his girlfriend Lauren
Cal joined the team prior to the 2015 season after transferring from Sierra College in California. He has made 25 appearances out of the bullpen in two seasons. He is QUOTE extremely proud to have earned my degree with honors and to compete at the Division 1 level. I will hopefully be continuing my education in graduate school at Oakland in the fall semester in the Higher Education Leadership Master's program.
His favorite memory at Oakland is QUOTE Beating Michigan and Michigan State in the same season, as well as having the opportunity to play in front of my friends and family in California.
