OAKLAND FALLS AT VALPARAISO IN FOUR SETS

VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Sammy Condon recorded 12 kills for a hitting percentage of .320 plus seven digs, four blocks and a service ace while Darien Bandel slammed a team-high 18 kills to go with four digs, two blocks and one assists as the Oakland volleyball team lost to Valparaiso in four sets Wednesday night.

Alli Gutschow led the Oakland defense with 21 digs while Melissa Deatsch and Jordan Lentz had 12 and 13 respectively. Deatsch and Jessica Dood also recorded 11 and 10 kills respectively. Oakland can clinch the No. 2 seed in the league tournament with a win Friday and a Green Bay loss.
