ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Darien Bandel recorded 11 kills and one dig as the Oakland volleyball team fell in straight sets to Valparaiso Wednesday night at the O'rena.

Alli Gutschow had 14 digs and four assists while Melissa Deatsch slammed 14 kills and 16 digs. The Golden Grizzlies will host Milwaukee Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. for Staff Appreciation Night/Alumni Night, where two free tickets will be given to fans who present their Oakland faculty or staff ID. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
