CHICAGO - Taylor Gleason posted a career-high in points (15) and assists (10) for her first career double-double to lead the Oakland women's basketball team (10-4, 2-1) to a 78-76 win at UIC on Thursday night. The Golden Grizzlies are riding a five-game win streak which is the best since the 2010-11 team which also won a season-high five consecutive games.

Taylor Jones scored 21 points and tied a career-high making 9-of-10 free throws. Olivia Nash added 20 points while Elena Popkey chipped in 12 points going a perfect 4-4 from the line. Defensively, Oakland held UIC's Ruvanna Campbell, who is second in the league in scoring (17.7 ppg), to only eight points on 3-of-15 shooting.
