Sept. 25, 2015 ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland travels for its first road test of the Horizon League season against Green Bay Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. ET.
A LOOK AT THE PHOENIX: Green Bay (2-7-0, 0-1) dropped its Horizon League opener to Detroit 5-0 (Sept. 18) and is coming off a 2-1 loss to Eastern Michigan (Sept. 20). They are led by senior forward Heidi Hartmann who currently leads the Horizon League in points with 13 (five goals, three assists). Last year, the Golden Grizzlies upset Green Bay, who came in owning the best overall record and offense in the Horizon League, 2-1.
HIGH FIVE FOR DOKKA: Cecile Dokka recorded her first multi-goal game of her career against Duquesne scoring two goals in the 11th and 88th minute. She currently ranks second on the team in points with eight and has recorded at least one point in four out of the last seven games.
MULTIPLE CONTRIBUTORS: The Golden Grizzlies' 3-0 win against Duquesne saw four different players record at least one point. Dokka (two goals), Ali Amante (one goal, one assist), Sydnye Gagner (one assist) and Devin Tomlinson (one assist) all chipped in. Gagner and Tomlinson's assists were the first of their careers.
SIEJA AMONG LEAGUE'S BEST: Senior Joan Sieja leads the team with nine points, good for fourth in the Horizon League. She also ranks third in the league in shots (27), goals (3) and assists (3).
