ROCHESTER, Mich. - Five Oakland men's and women's cross country student-athletes will travel to Centerville, Mich. for the Glen Oaks Community College Viking Invitational on Friday, Sept. 24.

Matt Degraeve and Chris Scott will compete in the men's 8K at 3:50 p.m. while Morgan Bridgewater, Nicole Werthmann and Lauren Zens will run the women's 5K at 4:35 p.m.

Meet Notes:
â-ª This marks the first time Oakland has competed in the Viking Invitational.

â-ª Scott finished 15th at the Golden Grizzly Open and 45th at Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational while Degraeve placed 20th and 16th respectively.

â-ª Bridgewater, Zens and Werthmann placed 19th, 21st and 30th respectively at the Golden Grizzly Open. At the Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational, Zens finished 16th, Werthmann placed 38 while Bridgewater didn't compete.
