GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Corey Petros and Kahlil Felder had 17 points each for the Golden Grizzlies, but Oakland fell to Green Bay 83-63 on Saturday in a showdown for the No. 2 seed in the Horizon League tournament.
Petros recorded a double-double as he added 13 rebounds to go with his 17 points.
Keifer Sykes and Greg Mays scored 21 points apiece for Green Bay.
Sykes had 16 points in the first half when the Phoenix (23-7, 11-5), who made 13 of 14 free throws before the break, opened a 41-31 lead. Green Bay now has a bye until the semifinals of the conference tournament at Valparaiso.
Freshman Daeshon Francis hit 6 of 7 shots and all five of his free throws to finish with a career-high 17 points, 13 in the second half for Green Bay, which pulled away by making 17 of 30 shots after intermission. Jordan Fouse added 16 points.
The Golden Grizzlies shot 41% from the floor, while Green Bay hit 50% of its shots.
Oakland will play in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament on Friday as the number three seed.
