Recap | Box Score

Our first senior is number 2 Ciara Schultz

Escorted by her parents Clay and Debbie Schultz

Ciara will end her Oakland career as the greatest setter in program history as she is the school's all-time leader in assists. She has also played the most sets in program history with over 450 in her four-year career. Last season she set the school's single-season assists record with over 1,200.

Her favorite memory at Oakland is beating Missouri at their own home tournament and going to the NCAA Tournament last season.

Coach Beam had this to say about Ciara: "Ciara has been an integral part of our program for the last four seasons. She graduates as the most decorated setter in the history of the program, which is a tribute to her skill and desire to continually improve as a player. She is a compassionate person, energetic leader, and a dependable teammate."

Next is number 4 Allia Knight

Escorted by her mom Nancy

Allia has totaled over 250 kills and 300 digs over her four-year career. She recorded 27 aces last season which was good for 9th in the Horizon League. Last season she tallied a career-best 15 digs in the NCAA Tournament against Kentucky.

Her favorite memory at Oakland is playing in California this season and getting to show my team my hometown.

Coach Beam on Allia: "Allia has provided amazing leadership during her career. She is intuitive, passionate, and selfless; all qualities that she has shared generously with everyone in the program and in the athletic department as a whole. Her versatility and all-around skill have made her incredibly valuable to our team and has raised the level of play in our program." Next is number 9 Mary Grassano Escorted by Rita and Massimo Grassano

Mary has totaled over 500 digs during her career including 219 in her sophomore season. She has collected 10 or more digs 19 times in her career including a career best 24 against Green Bay in 2013.

Her favorite memory at Oakland is beating Western Illinois on the road to qualify for The Summit League Tournament as Men's Soccer made a surprise visit in the stands.

Coach Beam on Mary: "Mary has been a key contributor and an important ball control player for us over the last four seasons. She is a wonderful teammate, has a great sense of humor, and is someone that everyone knows that they can count on 100% of the time. Finally, the courage she has shown in recovering to play at a high level after ACL surgery has been inspirational to everyone in the program."

Next is number 10 Amanda Baker

Escorted by her parents Jim and Jane Baker

Amanda will go down as one of the best middle blockers ever at Oakland as she holds the school record for career blocks and block assists. She has played in the second-most sets in program history, behind teammate Ciara Schultz. Amanda is superb in the classroom as well, being named a two-time Academic All-District selection.

Her favorite memory at Oakland is when the men's soccer team surprised the team during her freshman year at Western Illinois for the final regular season match. Along with all of the families from Illinois coming down to cheer the team on they ended up winning the game to clinch a spot in The Summit League Tournament.

Coach Beam had this to say about Amanda: "Amanda is one of the finest student-athletes I have coached here at Oakland. Her unmatched work ethic has allowed her to excel in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the court. But just as important, as a person, she is kind, generous, and compassionate and one of the best teammates we have ever had in the program."

Our final senior is number 15 Cassie Pelloni

Escorted by her parents Jeff and Tamara Pelloni

Cassie is a two-time All-Horizon League selection. Earlier this season she became the fifth player in program history to surpass 1,000 career kills and now ranks 4th all-time. She has led the team in kills the past two seasons and is 10th all-time in hitting percentage.

Her favorite memory at Oakland is being able to travel to new places that she would never go to unless it was for volleyball.

Coach Beam on Cassie: "Cassie has been one of the most dominant scorers in the history of our program. Her quiet competitiveness, calm demeanor on the court, and honesty as a teammate and have been huge assets for us for the last four years. Additionally, her willingness to receive feedback has made her one of the most coachable student-athletes we have had at Oakland."
