ROCHESTER, Mich. - Cassie Pelloni, a junior outside hitter on the Oakland volleyball team, was one of seven student-athletes named to the Horizon League's preseason All-League squad in a poll of league coaches.

As a sophomore in 2013, Pelloni earned All-Horizon League honors and finished the year second among conference competitors with 329 kills, a season mark that tied for seventh all-time in Oakland volleyball history.

Oakland will begin the 2014 fall season Friday, Aug. 29 when it participates at the Bronco Classic, hosted by Western Michigan.
