TAMPA, Fla. - The Oakland softball team prepares to enter its final stretch of games in its spring trip with the USF Under Armour Invitational Feb. 28 - March 2. OU will play five games in three days, this first of which will take place on Friday at 11:45 a.m. against Quinnipiac.

Tournament Notes
• Oakland is now 6-7 in the 2014 season and is on a four-game win streak.
• OU completed a sweep of Ave Maria University (Feb. 25) and earned a win each against Eastern Michigan and FGCU (Feb. 26) most recently.
• Erika Polidori leads Oakland's efforts at the plate with a .395 batting average closely followed by Morgan Muron's .385.
• Polidori has also contributed 17 hits, five doubles, two homers and nine RBIs.
• Pitching has been a strong point as Erin Kownacki (3-4) has five complete games while Kaley Waalkes (3-1) has thrown three.
• Kownacki has recorded 34 strikeouts on the season in 42.1 innings pitched.
• Waalkes boasts just a 2.20 ERA in 30 innings pitched.
• Last season through the first 13 games, OU was 3-9-1.
