ROCHESTER, Mich. - OU softball prepares to load up and ship off for spring break action on Thursday night with its first batch of games on Saturday, Feb. 22. Oakland (1-4) has had two weeks off in preparation for its spring trip and has seven days of competition on the schedule for a total of 13 games.

Tournament Notes
• Erika Polidori and Morgan Muron have both tallied homers this season after their first weekend of competition in Georgia.
• Polidori leads the team in batting average (.438), hits (7), doubles (3) and RBIs (6).
• Muron has added six hits for the Golden Grizzlies and Jackie Kisman has tallied five.
• Polidori was a first team preseason all-league selection while Kisman and Erin Kownacki were chosen as part of the second team.
• Polidori was recently named to the list of 2014 Senior CLASS Award nominees. There are only thirty chosen student-athletes in this group.
• Kownacki (1-2) has recorded three starts for OU in the circle and has a 7.12 ERA in 19.2 innings pitched.
• Siena has yet to play a game in this 2014 season.
