ROCHESTER, Mich. - Amy Carlton scored a game-high 15 points, while Nola Anderson added 14 points as Oakland defeated Rochester College, 96-38, in women's basketball action Wednesday evening in the Athletics Center O'rena. Four Golden Grizzlies finished with double-figure points as Oakland shot 46.6 percent (34-73) and moved to 3-0 at home this season.

Carlton tied a career-high with four 3-pointers to finish with a season-high in points. Anderson set a career-best with six field goals en route to tying a career-best in points. Sinclair Russell recorded her first double-digit scoring effort since March 9, 2013 and Elena Popkey went 4-for-5 from the floor to finish with 11 points.

The Golden Grizzlies outscored the Warriors 50-10 in points in the paint and held a 47-11 advantage in bench points. Oakland scored 37 points off of 31 forced turnovers with 19 steals. Every player that entered the game recorded at least one field goal for the Golden Grizzlies.

The Golden Grizzlies outscored the Warriors 51-18 in the second half as Oakland shot 50.0 percent (19-38) from the field and held RC to just 20.0 percent (5-25). The 51 points is the most scored in a half this season. Beth Mahurin tallied all eight of her points in the second period to lead the Golden Grizzlies.

Oakland led 45-20 at the half as it jumped out to a 18-5 lead to start the game. Anderson and Russell combined for 11 points in the early run. Carlton finished the opening period with three triples.

The Warriors were led by Erica Schwartz with a team-high 10 points and Jackie Highstreet had nine points with eight rebounds.

The Golden Grizzlies will hit the road this weekend as they travel to Muncie, Ind. to face Ball State on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
