ROCHESTER, Mich. - Matt Dudley and Joey Tinnion each netted goals, while Wes Mink collected his first career shutout as Oakland defeated Green Bay, 2-0, in men's soccer action Saturday night at the Oakland Soccer Field. The Golden Grizzlies outshot the Phoenix 17-11 in the match, including 8-1 in shots on goal.

"Credit to the players for buying into the philosophy and building off the momentum as it was just a matter of time before some talented, attacking players found the back of the net," said head coach Eric Pogue. "If we focus in on the core principles of team defending and not allowing the other team to score we are going to stay in a lot of games."

Dudley scored his second goal of the season in the 16th minute as he collected a rebound in the box and finished passed the keeper to the left post. Tinnion added to the lead late in the second half as he received a cross from Gavin Hoy from eight yards and slotted it to the far post for his first of the season.

Mink earns his second consecutive victory of the season with one save to keep a clean sheet.

The Golden Grizzlies will be back on the pitch on Wednesday when they host Ohio State beginning at 7 p.m. It is a Blackout at the Oakland Soccer Field as fans are asked to #WearTheBear to support the men's soccer team against the Buckeyes.
