FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Reggie Hamilton scored 30 points and Oakland, Mich., used an 11-0 run spanning halftime to seal a 96-86 victory over IPFW on Saturday night.
Five double-figure scorers accounted for all but three points by the Golden Grizzlies (10-10, 4-4 Summit League). Travis Bader scored 21, Ryan Bass 15, Drew Valentine 14 and Corey Petros 13.
Mario Hines led the Mastodons (9-8, 3-5) with 20 points. He was backed by Frank Gaines' 19, Antwaun Boyd's 15, Justin Jordan's 12 and Michael Kibiloski's 11.
IPFW led 44-43 with 2:13 left in the first half. But Valentine scored, Bader hit a 3-pointer for a 48-44 lead at the break, and Hamilton and Bass opened the second half with 3-pointers for a 54-44 advantage.
The Mastodons went scoreless for 3:57.
Oakland shot 50 percent (29 of 58) to IPFW's 53 percent (31 of 58) but sank 14 3-pointers to seven for the Mastodons.
