  • Oakland was playing in the Summit League championship game for the seventh time in 12 seasons
  • Oakland is 2-5 in Summit League Championship games and has made two NCAA Tournament appearances.
  • OU trails the all-time series with South Dakota State leads the all-time series 7-3 and are 2-0 in postseason play.
  • The Golden Grizzlies are 0-2 against the Jackrabbits in Summit League Tournament games, both meetings have been championship games (2009, SDSU won 79-69), (2011, SDSU won 61-54)
  • Oakland is 19-9 all-time at the Summit League Tournament and won the title in 2002 and 2006. Coach Beckie Francis led both of OU's championship teams and is 16-7 all-time in Summit League Tournament games.
