ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Oakland University women's soccer team will host local rival Detroit on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas.
The Golden Grizzlies (1-4) scored 16 goals in a season-opening win over Rochester College, but have not scored since that match. Amy Trandell has scored three goals to lead the Golden Grizzlies' offensive effort this season.
Detroit (3-2-1) had an offensive outpouring against NAIA opponent Madonna. The Titans are led by Abby McCollum, who has scored three goals and has three assists this season.
Oakland leads the all-time series between the two schools 10-3. The Golden Grizzlies won the last meeting 1-0 over the Titans last season.
