PONTIAC, Mich. - Sophomore Deanna Colorassi scored two goals, including the game winner, senior Lindsey Blair notched two assists and sophomore Shannon Coley made four saves en route to her fifth shutout to lead Oakland University (7-7-1, 4-2-1) past IPFW (4-9-1, 3-4), 4-0, in Summit League women's soccer action on Friday night at the Ultimate Soccer Arena.

"This was a total team effort tonight," said head coach Nick O'Shea. "I thought played some really good soccer tonight. Deanna Colarossi scoring two goals for us was good. Meghan Hartwig caused some problems early in the game for IPFW. Lisa Underwood came in with 10 goals and she didn't have her first shot until about eight minutes left in the game. We did a good job of shutting her down."

The Golden Grizzlies struck early as junior Meghan Hartwig went wide and fed a cross to the middle of the box to Blair who in turn passed quickly to Colorassi and she slid one past the Mastodon goalkeeper in the lower right corner at the 11:24 minute mark as Oakland led 1-0.

OU kept up the pressure early in the first half controlling most of the play getting a pair of quality chances from Colorassi and Blair, but IPFW's Kristen McFadden kept the game at 1-0 with some nice saves.

After halftime, Colorassi would strike again for the Golden Grizzlies at the 53rd minute. Blair sent a corner kick into the box, and after the ball deflected off a few players, Colorassi found the ball on her foot and buried it past the keeper to push the advantage to 2-0.

The Golden Grizzlies struck again with just over 24 minutes left in the game. Blair received a ball just inside the midline and sent a ball over the top of the IPFW defense that freshman Marlen Knoph caught up to and sent into the back of the net from the top of the box as the lead grew to 3-0.

The Grizzlies recorded the final goal of the game with just over seven minutes left as freshman Katie Bramble took a feed from Knoph and scored to give Oakland a 4-0 win.

OU had 20 shots, eight corner kicks and no offsides, while IPFW had seven shots, four corner kicks and four offsides.

The Golden Grizzlies will take on league leading IUPUI (4-1) next Friday night in Indianapolis, Ind. Game time is set for 7 p.m. inside Carroll Stadium.
