Jessica Howard of West Bloomfield, Michigan. ???Jessica is an aggressive goalkeeper,??? said O???Shea. ???She is good with her hands and skilled with her feet. She reads the game well and I like her competitiveness.??? Howard just completed her senior season at West Bloomfield High School where she led the team to its first league championship, recording 10 shutouts on her way to all-league honors. A three-time all-leagues selection, this was the first season she has played in net for West Bloomfield. Howard has had extensive goalkeeper training while playing with the Cincinnati Classic-Hammer organization. While in Ohio she was named to the Ohio South state team three times (1999-01) and represented South Ohio at the Olympic Development camp where she made the regional pool team in 1999. In Michigan she has played club soccer with Vardar ???86 Black. Howard is a member of the National Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Bloomfield.
