Paul Snape (Liverpool, England/Liverpool HS) will participate in the Umbro Select All-Star Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from February 1-4. This is the sixth year of this classic that hosts the top senior collegiate players in the nation. He will play for the Premier Development League All-Stars. Snape started in 11 of the 12 games played in for the Golden Grizzlies in 2000. The senior forward scored four goals and three assists as he helped Oakland win its first Mid-Continent Conference regular season title with a 4-1 record. He ranked third on the squad with 11 points and led the team with two game-winning goals. Snape made All-Conference first team for the second straight year in 2000. The 6-0 senior ended his career at Oakland with 38 goals (fifth in school history), 33 assists (ninth) and 109 points (fourth). Snape started in 68 of the 69 games played in and made all-region in 1996, 1998 and 1999. He was selected as the Freshman of the Year in 1996 inside the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference where he recorded 42 points, ninth best output in school history.
