Jenny Swiatowy joined the Athletics Department at Oakland University in November 2013, initially serving as the Assistant to the Athletics Director. She was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Administration in June 2019 and further advanced to Associate Athletic Director for Administration in February 2024.
As a member of the department’s senior leadership team, Jenny provides leadership and managerial supervision for athletics administration, academic services, and strength and conditioning. She currently serves as the sport administrator for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field programs, Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country programs, Volleyball, and the OU Dance Team. Additionally, she acts as the Athletics Department liaison to the Office of Legal Affairs, University Human Resources, Purchasing, Risk Management, and UTS.
Before her tenure in Athletics, Jenny spent over a decade in the University’s Office of Legal Affairs as the Legal Secretary to the Vice President and several staff attorneys, while also providing administrative support to the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. Prior to her time at Oakland, she worked for many years at the Silver Lake Law Center as a Legal Assistant and Office Manager for various attorneys.
Residing in Clarkston, Mich., Jenny is married to Eric, and they have two grown children, Duffy and Molly, as well as a granddaughter, Sophia, who is the light of their lives.
