A Michigan native, Zurchauer earned Michigan Division 1 All-State recognition during his high school playing career before transitioning into education and coaching. He began his coaching career while teaching in Ireland, gaining early international experience that continues to influence his perspective on player development.
Zurchauer brings experience coaching at both the high school and club levels, including teams competing in the National League. A former AP science teacher, he emphasizes a structured, analytical approach to training and learning, while focusing on player development within a team centered environment.
Zurchauer holds a USSF B License, which reflects advanced training in game modeling, training design, periodization, and match analysis at the collegiate and elite youth levels. He is committed to creating competitive environments that support both individual growth and collective success.
