Oakland University Athletics

Clarence Round joined the Oakland University athletics department as a graphic designer in August 2021. Currently Round serves as the lead designer and Lead photographer,  and strategic communication advisor 

Round most recently served as a graphic design intern for the Golden Grizzlies from February 2021 through the summer. He designed graphics, schedule posters, and wallpapers shared across OU digital platforms during this period. 

Before Oakland, Round spent five months as a creative service intern with the Eastern Michigan University athletics department. He was heavily involved in recruiting graphics and photoshoot file management in his stint with the nearby Eagles. Round has also worked with several clients as a freelance graphic designer since 2019. 

Outside of sports, Round was a Corporal for the United States Marine Corps from 2012-16. He worked as an administrative specialist with the Department of Defense during his time in the military.  

In December 2020, Round graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications with a minor in graphic design from Oakland.
