Noah is a retired member of the United States Army, licensed psychotherapist, competitive athlete, and a sport and performance psychology clinician. Prior to joining our team, during his enlistment as an active duty infantryman, Noah was wounded in a combat zone leaving him with a significant back injury. The journey from being bed ridden to now a competitive bodybuilder in his spare time is one he loves to share as it draws closely on the beneficial and transformative impacts sport and performance psychology can provide toward optimum performance and self-growth.Â
Following the military, Noah earned his bachelor's degree from Oakland University majoring in psychology and focusing on holistic and integrative health modalities. He then went on to gain his master's degree from Oakland University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on sport and performance. After gaining his licensure, Noah founded a multidisciplinary athletic performance center and served as the Director of Sport Psychology, which focused on the collegiate and professional athletic populations for performance, individual growth, and mental health wellbeing.Â
Noah is dedicated to continual learning beyond his years of education and experience to provide the most up to date and beneficial sport psychology services to our athletes and teams. He is a current member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and continues to gain his Cognitive Mental Performance Consulting certification through close work with Dr. Seth Swary, PhD, LPC.
