Kristi Tomczyk

After serving as the director of operations during the 2018 season, Kristi Tomczyk was promoted to assistant coach prior to the 2019 season. She joined the Golden Grizzlies' staff in June 2018 as the director of operations assisting with day-to-day operations and leading the program's alumni relations efforts.

Tomczyk spent three-years (2016-18) as the head coach for Parkway Christian School Girls and Boys (2017) Varsity Soccer Club leading the girls' team to a Conference Championship in 2017 and first ever District Championship in 2016. She was a three-time District Coach of the Year (2016, 2017, 2018) selection and named Conference Coach of the Year in 2016.

Prior to her time at Parkway, Tomczyk served as an assistant coach for the girls’ varsity team at Lahser High School helping the team finish as Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class B State runner-up in 2008. She also coached and developed six college commitments (five NCAA D-I, one NCAA D-III).

Tomczyk, a native of Clinton Township, Mich. was a standout forward for the Golden Grizzlies from 2005-07 becoming the only player in program history to earn conference player of the year honors in multiple seasons (2006 & 2007). She holds a number of game, season and career records, including eighth all-time in career goals (28) where she led the team in goals scored and points in consecutive seasons (2006-07).

Kristi and her husband Nick reside in Macomb with their four sons.
