Biography

2008-09: Earned all-league first team honors in the 50 free (20.26) and for swimming legs on the league and meet record-setting 200 medley relay (1:24.44) and 200 free relay (1:20.25) teams ... Both of those relays hit NCAA `B' cut qualifying standards ... Was named Summit League Athlete of the Week for swimming on four first-place relay teams at the Florida International University Invitational (1/6) ... Named to The Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2007-08: Earned all-league honors in four events at The Summit League Championships ... Swam on the championship 200-yard freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relays squads ... All three teams broke school records and the medley relays both set meet records and hit the NCAA 'B' cut ... Was runner-up in the 50 free (20.49) ... He swam 20.40 in the prelims, the fifth fastest time in Oakland history ... Was third in the 100 breaststroke (56.76) and the 100 free (45.47).

2006-07: Was part of three relay Mid-Con Championship teams ... Helped guide the 200 free relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 1:22.96 ... Anchored the 400 free relay team that clocked a NCAA 'B' standard qualifying standard time of 2:59.22 to finish first at the conference meet ... Swam the final leg of the 400 medley relay team that finished first with a time of 3:19.76 ... Posted a trio of third-place finishes at the conference championship in the 50 free (20.80), 100 free (46.03) and 100 breast (56.76) .

Florida: Swam a 1:09.09 in the 100 breast, seventh fastest on the Gator squad during the 2004-05 season.

High School: Earned four letters at the International School of Luxembourg ... Was selected team captain all four seasons.

Personal: Son of Sue and Mark Bonucchi ... Bonucchi is majoring in integrative studies.
