2008-09: Swam three career-best times in the 200 free (1:43.77), 500 free (4:40.23) and 200 back (50.69) at the Michigan Open (2/6) ... Named to The Summit League Commissioner[apos]s List of Academic Excellence.
2006-07: Swam three career-best and top-three times at the conference championship in the 500-yard freestyle, 100 back and 200 back with times of 4:38.77 (finishing in third), 50.77 (good for a second-place finish) and 1:48.15 (also a second-place finish), respectively. Earned second team all-league honors at the conference championship.
2005-06: Earned first team all-league honors his freshman year by winning the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:48.89 ... Also received a second-place finish in the 100 back at the Mid-Con Championship with a time of 51.12.
Nequa Valley High School:Earned two lettersfor Len Pewkalay and Dave Krotiak, serving as captain both seasons ... Qualified for all-state honors six times throughout his high school career ...
