2008-09: Closed out an outstanding freshman season earning All-America honors for finishing 12th in the 200 back (1:41.83) at the NCAA Championships ... Named Swimmer and Newcomer of the Year at The Summit League Championships ... Won the 100 and 200 back (46.65, 1:41.49, respectively) events ... Both times broke the meet record and automatically qualified him for the NCAA Championships ... Won the 200 fly with a time of 1:44.19 that set the meet record and hit the NCAA B Cut ...
