Chris Handy was named Graduate Assistant for the Oakland men’s and women’s golf team in August 2021. His responsibilities will include assisting in the golf development of the players on the team as well as assisting in administrative duties.
During his five years playing at Oakland, Handy earned NCAA Division 1 All-American honors three times as well as first-team honors. The graduate student holds the school record for the lowest score recorded in a single round (64). He also won the Hollie L. Lepley Award from the athletics department twice during his career. Outside of Oakland golf, Handy has played for his national team, England Golf, seven times.
After graduating from Oakland with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Handy is now working on his master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
