Youth Team Opportunities – All Season Long
Youth soccer teams (ages 12 and under) are invited to be part of the game day experience with the Golden Grizzlies Women's Soccer program throughout the 2026 season. Groups receive admission for players, coaches, and families, along with the chance to take part in special experiences such as pregame international walkouts and on-field halftime activities (weather permitting).

AUGUST
Wednesday, August 10 vs. Indiana Tech – 7:00 PM
Season Kickoff / Black and Gold Match
The home schedule opens under the lights with an intrasquad-style Black and Gold match. This exhibition-style event gives fans their first look at the 2026 roster in a competitive setting. Admission is free.
Thursday, August 20 vs. Bowling Green – 7:00 PM
Youth Day
Oakland hosts Bowling Green in a Youth Day celebration focused on inspiring the next generation of soccer players. Youth teams and families are encouraged to attend and experience collegiate soccer up close. Kids 12 years old or younger are free with a paying adult.
Tuesday, August 27 vs. Toledo – 2:30 PM
Alumni Day / Doubleheader Event (Men's & Women's Soccer)
A special doubleheader day featuring both Oakland soccer programs. Alumni and their families receive free admission as the program welcomes back former players and supporters.
SEPTEMBER
Wednesday, September 6 vs. Rochester Christian – 7:00 PM
Senior Night
A dedicated night recognizing seniors for their leadership and commitment to the program.
Saturday, September 19 vs. Cleveland State – 7:00 PM
Club Day
A celebration of local and regional soccer clubs. Youth players (12 years old or younger) are invited to attend and wear their club jerseys for free admission with a paying adult.
OCTOBER
Thursday, October 1 vs. Youngstown State – 7:00 PM
Greek Night
A campus-centered event celebrating Oakland University's Greek life organizations. Fraternities and sororities are encouraged to attend in groups to support the Golden Grizzlies.
Sunday, October 4 vs. Robert Morris – 1:00 PM
Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day
A thank-you event honoring Oakland University faculty and staff. OU Faculty and staff receive free admission.
Thursday, October 22 vs. Wright State – 7:00 PM
Disco After Dark
Bring the disco vibes to the pitch for
Disco After Dark! Enjoy a retro-inspired atmosphere with throwback music, themed entertainment, and fun giveaways, including disco balls, funky glasses, and more. Dress to impress and get ready for a night of soccer under the lights!
Sunday, October 25 vs. Northern Kentucky – 1:00 PM
World Cup Day
A global soccer celebration highlighting the international nature of the sport. Fans are encouraged to represent different countries and bring flags, creating a diverse and energetic match day atmosphere.
