Youth Team Opportunities – All Season Long

Youth soccer teams (12 and under) are invited to be part of the action all season long at Golden Grizzlies Women's Soccer matches. Teams receive free admission for players and coaches, and can participate in exclusive experiences including pregame international walkouts and on-field halftime contests (weather permitting).

AUGUST

• Tuesday, August 5 vs. Akron (Exhibition) – 3:00 PM
  Start the season with a free exhibition match against Akron. 

• Sunday, August 10 vs. Jackson College (Exhibition) – 1:00 PM
  Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon match with free admission for everyone. 

• Sunday, August 17 vs. Valparaiso – 7:00 PM – Kid's Day
  Celebrate Kid’s Day under the lights. All kids receive free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. Come support the team in their first official home contest of the season.

• Thursday, August 21 vs. Mercyhurst – 7:00 PM – Kid's Day
  Another Kid’s Day special with free admission for children accompanied by a paying adult. 

• Sunday, August 28 vs. Ohio – 6:00 PM – Kid's Day
  Wrap up August with one more Kid’s Day event. Kids get in free with a paid adult.

SEPTEMBER

• Sunday, September 7 vs. Kent State – 1:00 PM – Club & Camper Day
  All youth soccer clubs and summer campers are invited to attend for free. Wear your team gear, bring your teammates, and enjoy a fun-filled day at the field. Teams can also take part in post-game autographs.

• Sunday, September 21 vs. Cleveland State – 1:00 PM – Alumni Day / Bingo Day
  Oakland University alumni are invited back to campus and can enjoy the match for free. During the game, fans can participate in Soccer Bingo, with chances to win fun prizes throughout the match.

OCTOBER

• Saturday, October 4 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne – 7:00 PM – Senior Day
  Join us as we honor our graduating seniors in a special pregame ceremony. Let’s pack the stands and show appreciation for their dedication and impact on the program.

• Thursday, October 9 vs. Green Bay – 7:00 PM – Kick Cancer Away
  In partnership with cancer awareness initiatives, this special night is dedicated to honoring cancer survivors, thrivers, and healthcare professionals. Free admission will be provided to all survivors, thrivers, and healthcare workers. A portion of the evening will include recognition moments and awareness efforts to support those affected by cancer and celebrate their strength.

• Sunday, October 12 vs. Milwaukee – 1:00 PM – Faculty & Staff Appreciation
  A special thank-you to Oakland University’s faculty and staff. All faculty and staff receive free admission with their OU ID as we celebrate their support and contributions to our student-athletes.

• Saturday, October 25 vs. IU-Indy – 3:00 PM – Monster Match (Halloween Game)
  Celebrate Halloween with the Golden Grizzlies. Fans who arrive in costume will receive free admission. There will be festive activities.
