Oakland University Athletics hosted the fourth annual Black and Gold Awards Monday, April 16 at 7 p.m. inside the O'rena.
The Black and Gold Awards serve as a celebration for Oakland's student-athletes to honor their accomplishments in competition, the classroom and in the community.
Some of this year's presenters include: Fox 2 news and Oakland alumnus Amy Andrews, WXYZ-TV's Justin Rose, 97.1 FM and Oakland alumni Mike Sullivan, 97.9 FM DJ and Oakland alumnus Kirby Gwen, Fox Sports Detroit's Johnny Kane, Oakland alumni Joey Namou, also known as Joey Radio from 95.5 FM and Oakland University President Ora Pescovitz.
The show was hosted by the Voice of the Golden Grizzlies, Neal Ruhl, and Oakland sideline reporter and in-house host Lauren Jbara.
