Calling all Oakland University alumni-athletes! The Oakland Varsity Association is here! All former OU varsity athletes are invited to become a part of the "Varsity O". CLICK HERE for more information and learn how you can update your contact information, view all-time rosters, receive information about sport reunions and special discounts, and take advantage of a unique career networking tools specifically for Oakland University Alumni-Athletes.
Grizz Kidz Club Membership Reminders
- If you have yet to pick up your membership pack you can do so at any OU home game at the O'rena
- Remember that as a member of the Grizz Kidz club, with your Grizz Kidz club ID, you can get into the games for free (you must bring your membership tag to the ticket office window to redeem your free ticket)
- Participate in the fan tunnel for the players (please meet in the northeast corner of the O'rena, on the floor in front of the band, with 10 minutes remaining in pre-game warm-up)
- Participate in a post-game shoot around (meet on the south end of the floor immediately following each game)
- At each game be sure to sign in to help track your attendance to be entered to be randomly selected to win Kidz Club Fan of the Day. Fan of the Day winners will receive 4 free reserved seats behind media row for the next home game. Take advantage of all these opportunities and more by coming to every game!
- There will also be dates for the Kidz Club Clinics and other involvement with the OU Basketball Teams announced shortly.
On-the-Court Crew
If your child is 8 or older they have an opportunity to be part of the on-the-court crew. We still have spots available to sign up, you must sign up in advance.
Please call 248-370-3161 or visit the Grizz Kidz Club Table at the next home game for on-the-court crew date availability. Please email grizzfan@oakland.edu for any dates you would like to sign up for this season.
Oakland University & Auburn Hills Public Library
Make a SLAM DUNK with reading in 2010-11
- Participants must be in 1st-6th grade.
- Program tracks youth reading progress around the basketball court with a free throw (1 book),
- jump shot (2 books), layup (3 books), slam dunk (4 books).
- There is no limit on participation. Participants may complete program up to eight times to win
- up to 16 free tickets and additional prizes.
- Youth completing the program, earn two (2) free general admission tickets for the winner and
- one family member to a select program game at the O'Rena. Must choose from free ticket dates.
