Oakland - Get Involved

BECOME A PART OF THE OAKLAND ATHLETICS TRADITION...

Oakland University is proud to offer a number of fan involvement opportunites at Oakland home athletic events.  Groups and performers are responsible for the purchase of tickets to Oakland Athletic events.  No additional cost is associated for an individual or group to perform or scrimmage at an Oakland event.  National Anthem singers will receive two complimentary tickets to each contest he/she performs at.

TICKET PRICES & GROUP DISCOUNTS

Halftime Youth Team Scrimmages (must be 6th grade and under)
  • Youth Halftime Soccer Scrimmages
  • Youth Halftime Basketball Scrimmages (November 2012-March 2013)
Don't pass up the opportunity to have your youth basketball team play on the O'rena court during an OU athletic competition halftime.  The 2012-13 Oakland Athletic seasons saw a number of halftime scrimmage appearances by our very own local youth teams and greatly look forward to offering the same opportunity in 2013-14. 

Oakland Athletics is excited about bringing the O'rena experience to the youth of our community, and we feel that the excitement of both our men's and women's basketball teams is the perfect way to do that.

National Anthem Performers

Oakland Athletics National Anthem singers have the opportunity to perform center stage at the following Oakland Athletics events: Men's/Women's Basketball, Men's/Women's Soccer, Men's/Women's Swimming and Diving, Women's Volleyball, Baseball and Softball.

Fan Tunnels

Enjoy this great opportunity to have your team or group welcome the Golden Grizzlies to the court.  Your group or team is invited to form the game time fan tunnel with the Oakland Cheer and Dance Teams.
