Fink comes to Oakland from Youngstown State
Rebecca joined the Oakland staff in April 2016 as compliance coordinator and handles the day-to-day compliance matters and assists with monitoring financial aid and ensuring eligibility for student-athletes with NCAA, Horizon League and Oakland University rules.
Prior to Oakland she worked in the Youngstown State compliance office from 2015-16. There she monitored all aspects of the National Letter of Intent program, athletic aid cancellations and renewal process, FAFSA requirements, cost of attendance limitations, maximizing equivalency limits per sport and approving all institutional and outside aid. Fink worked with the Penguins' nationally ranked football program, making sure all NCAA rules were met. She also created a Student-Athlete Life after School presentation
She is completing her masters degree in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor degree in exercise science from Youngstown State in 2015. Fink was a member of the women's soccer team from 2012-14.
