Russ Luxton is a face that is well known throughout the athletic department. As an owner of Sir Pizza and RJ's Pub, Russ is known not only as an Oakland University fan, but a longtime supporter of Oakland athletics.
Russ has been an unshakeable sponsor of OU athletics and is most often described as the jovial man who provides meals for the athletic teams.
His support of Oakland athletics has created a lasting partnership that is deeply cherished by all student-athletes and the athletic department staff. His encouragement of the teams is greatly appreciated and his presence at games and competitions is unwavering. He is the definition of an OU fan in more ways than one.
