Bob Head is one of those rare individuals who continually supports the athletic program through attendance, service and financial contributions, yet never seeks the limelight.
Bob's contributions over the years have had a significant effect on the program and has set an example for others to follow. He has donated a diving board and standard as well as color television sets for both the diving and woman's basketball programs. He has served on ticket sales committees, has advertised in numerous programs and sponsored individual sports schedule cards. Bob has hosted many of our visiting athletic teams at his Spartan Motel and he has made numerous financial contributions.
Bob is also active in various community programs. He serves as treasurer for North Oakland County YMCA, and is chairman of the Oakland Township Construction Compliance Committee.
Bob and his wife Barbara, are two of the most loyal and enthusiastic fans. We are all indeed fortunate to have Bob as a friend of Oakland University and the athletic department.
