INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Horizon League announced postseason All-League awards Monday afternoon, as Oakland claimed two spots on the All-League teams: senior point guard Brody Robinson to the First Team and fifth-year forward Tuburu Naivalarua a seat on the All-League Third Team.
Robinson led Oakland all season long from the field, averaging 17.0 points a game and shot 40% from the floor. The Houston native also dished out 211 assists to lead the Black and Gold and the Horizon League, averaging 6.8 passes/game, he was ranked in the top-25 in the NCAA in the category all season long. Known for his speed and way to draw the foul, Robinson is currently third in the nation in free throw attempts and makes, shooting 79% at the line. The 5-10 point guard has five double-doubles on the season (all in points and assists) and is on a 16-game double-digit points and 11-game three-pointer made streak. He shot a career-high 35 points against Wright State on Jan. 11 and dished out 13 assists at IU Indy on Feb. 25 to make his way into the Oakland top-10 list in single-game assists.
The Sydney, Australia native Naivalarua was tabbed as the Horizon League's Preseason Player of the Year and lived up to the expectation with a 14.3ppg and 6.0rpg season. Shooting 51% from the floor this year, he totaled 444 points, including 18 three-point field goals. Off the boards, the big man compiled 186 rebounds, including 69 from the offensive glass to lead OU. He shot 22 double-digit games, including four 20+ point outings, netting a career-high 26 points at Green Bay. Hit collected a double-double this year, and picked up two double-digit rebounding games in the 2025-26 season.
The Golden Grizzlies are back on the Blacktop to host the first round of the Horizon League tournament as they face No. 7 seed Northern Kentucky on Wednesday, March 4. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
