INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Horizon League announced their #HLSB Pitcher of the Week on Monday, naming Oakland ace Kenna Bommarito as the league's pitcher with the top week on the diamond, earning her second weekly award nod in just over a month of action in 2026.

Bommarito tossed another gem against Cleary (3/13), leading Oakland to an 8-0 home win where she struck out 12 batters, walked none, and allowed just three hits in another complete game shutout. Her 12 strikeouts marked a career-high, and the third time this season she has tallied double-digit strikeouts in a game.

She has been the best pitcher in the conference so far this season, leading the league in shutouts (4), complete games (5), ERA (1.40), strikeouts (55), and opposing batting average (.204). 

The stellar sophomore leads Oakland into a midweek doubleheader matchup at Notre Dame on Wednesday, Mar. 18, beginning at 5 p.m. on ACC Network.
