Six Golden Grizzlies Named to Outdoor #HLTF All-Academic Teams

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Horizon League announced their Outdoor #HLTF Men's and Women's All-Academic Teams, naming six Golden Grizzlies to the list.

For the men, Yami Albrecht was named to the All-Academic Team, while Christian Collis was named an honorable mention. Albrecht earned third place in the 5k and second place in the 1500m at the Conference Outdoor Championships. Collis, competing in the 800m and 1500m races, earned his second consecutive Outdoor Season All-Academic nod.

On the women's side Jamie Giese, Grace Nolan, Ashley Quinn, and Erin Hegarty all were named to the All-Academic Team. Giese concluded a season where she broke the program record in the shot put twice, earning silver at the conference championships. Conference champion in the 800m Ashley Quinn also broke records during the season, shattering program marks in the 1500m and 800m, as she earned her third consecutive outdoor all-academic nod.

Grace Nolan earned her fourth consecutive outdoor all-academic nod, continuing one of the most notable academic careers in Oakland Athletics history. She also earned the Conference 10k title in her final race of her career. Erin Hegarty earned her second straight all-academic nod, following up an honorable mention in 2024. Hegarty placed second in the 5k at Horizon League Outdoor Championships as well.
