ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland returns to the track for their final home meet of the season as they host their annual Elaine Leigh Invite.

The meet will host a wide range of local Michigan programs to compete, including schools like Detroit Mercy, Eastern Michigan, Wayne State, and many more.

The majority of the team has been away from competition for the last week, with the exception of pole vaulters Simon Griemert, Alexa Messina, Victoria Sanders, and Genna Golab who competed at the Central Michigan Chippewa Challenge.

Highlights from this week for the Golden Grizzlies will be Ke'Vina Finch looking to win her third consecutive 200m Dash of the season, while Alex Mansfield also aims for his third top five finish in several throwing events.

Oakland is looking to repeat last season's showing at the Elaine Leigh Invite, where multiple personal bests were set.

Oakland will also be celebrating senior day, honoring the careers of 13 student-athletes who will be competing in their final home meet this weekend.

Events will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 18 for day one. Day two will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 19.
