ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland University men's golf team is back in action this weekend at the 48th-Annual Rutherford Intercollegiate, hosted by Penn State. The two-day event will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 12–13, at the Penn State Blue Course in State College, Pennsylvania.
The par-71, 7,130-yard course will set the stage for a competitive field, with 36 holes scheduled for Saturday beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by the final 18 holes on Sunday starting at 8 a.m.
Oakland will go head-to-head against a strong 13-team field, including host Penn State, Binghamton, Bucknell, Connecticut, Delaware, Long Island, Longwood, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Towson, and Western Carolina.

At the Don Benbow Invitational,
Jack Zubkus finished 9th individually, earning him Horizon League Golfer of the Week honors. The Golden Grizzlies were led by
Matteo Rocco and
Bhavneet Sohal, who both captured top-30 finishes. This weekend will feature Bhaneet Sohal,
Ellis Kinnaird,
Robert Burns,
Matteo Rocco, and
Ben Willis. The Golden Grizzlies will look to build off their recent momentum and deliver another strong team performance on one of the northeast's most historic collegiate golf stages.
