ROCHESTER, Mich. - Softball's Taylor Carraway and Track and Field's Wesley Hollowell earn this week's OU Prairie Farms Student-Athletes of the Week honors.

Carraway has been on fire from the plate for Softball, currently riding an eight game hitting streak for the Golden Grizzlies. Her sensational hitting led Oakland to a 2-1 series win against Youngstown State on Apr. 5-6 where she batted 3-of-7 (.428) over the three game series. Her biggest performance came in the series finale where she went 1-of-3 with a two-RBI double as Oakland went on to win the game 3-0.

On the track, Hollowell sped around the track in the opening home meet for Oakland at the Golden Grizzlies Invite. The sophomore from White Lake, Mich. earned his first win of the outdoor season in the men's 3000m steeple chase on Saturday, setting a personal record time of 9:21.19.
