BATAVIA, Ohio. - The Oakland Men's Golf Team earned a season-best 2nd Place finish in Northern Kentucky's The Jewell Invitational as junior Bhavneet Sohal led the team with a three-day total of -1 to finish in 6th place, earning his second straight top-10 individual finish. 

Graduate Student Anthony Comito fired a 75 in the final round to finish at +4, which earned him a top-15 with a T-14th finish. Freshman Robert Burns shot 76 in the final round to finish at +6 which was good for a T-25th finish. Sophomore Ellis Kinnaird and freshman Ben Willis shot 75 and 77 respectively in the final round to finish T-38th at +9. Junior Edward Rowe fired a final round 77 to finish at +10, in a T-41st place finish. 

This was the final regular season event for the Golden Grizzlies before the Horizon League Championship takes place later this month in the Orlando, Florida area.
