INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Three Oakland University men's and women's track & field student-athletes, Eddie Harrell III, Ashley Quinn and Jennifer Ohlsson, were named to the #HLTF Indoor All-Academic Team, while Colin Kane was tabbed with an honorable mention listing, the league announced today.
 
Harrell III earned his second indoor All-Academic honor after he was named to the team last season graduate student sports a 3.73 cumulative GPA in Public Administration. An impressive indoor season was had by Harrell III as he placed first on two occasions this season as he paced all the Horizon League on the Men's 800m Race at the conference championship with a time of 1:52.29.
 
Kane, another graduate student on the men's team, earned an honorable mention with a 3.7 cumulative GPA while also attending full-time Physical Therapy school. The graduate student scored points for the Golden Grizzlies at the Indoor Horizon league Track and Field Championships, as he set a new career best in the Men's 5000m Race with a time of 14:44.33 this season.
 
On the women's side, Quinn earned All-Academic honors for the third-straight year after an impressive 3.97 GPA while studying Graphic Design. The graduate student placed in the top three on five separate occasions this season, as she placed in the top-three in the Women's 800m Race at the indoor championships.
 
Her first #HLTF indoor honors, Ohlsson had a great year on the track and in the classroom with a near perfect 4.0 while studying Elementary Education with her 3.98. The senior placed in the top three once this season as she helped the Golden Grizzlies to a top-five team finish as she garnered points at the indoor championships.
 
As the indoor track & field season ended, the outdoor season for the Golden Grizzlies is well underway as it started its season today at the Charlotte 49ers Classic.
