INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - On Thursday, March 14th, the Horizon League named Oakland's Bridget Boczar Valeo Women's Golf Athlete of the Week following her stellar performance on the green.

Boczar led the Golden Grizzlies in scoring this past week when she secured the third place finish in Huntsville.org Invitational making it her second top three finish of the regular season with a +4 over par 72 score of 220 (70, 79, 71) on the green. Her scores helped elevate the team placement to third overall with a score of 909 (296, 314, 299); the highest they have gotten all season, respectively. This is the sophomore's second time this season receiving the athlete of the week honors as she continues to excel as an individual and team player for the Golden Grizzlies.
