Horizon League Reveals Women's Golf Pre Season Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Horizon League unveiled the 2024 Women's Golf Preseason Poll with Oakland on top totaling an impressive 58 votes.

This is the first year since 2018 that Oakland has been named to the top of the conference in the pre-season poll. Last fall season, the team finished with one first-place victory from the Shirley Spork Invitational, along with two second-place finishes from the A-Ga-Ming Invitational and then the Chippewa Invitational to cap off October.

The team is prepped for the regular season with three new athletes including freshmen Hannah Kono, Olivia Hemmila, and Lily Bargamian, along with talented returners Grace Boczar, Bridget Boczar, Nateda Her, Ashley Chin, Savannah Haque, and Paige Scott.

UP NEXT
The Golden Grizzlies will venture out to New Braunfels, Texas to take on the Texas State Invitational on February 5th through the 7th.
